Samsung Life to make market debut this week

Shares of Samsung Life Insurance Co., will start to be traded on the main stock market Wednesday in what will be the country's biggest initial public offering (IP0) this year, the bourse operator said Monday.
South Korea's biggest life insurer has 200 million shares set to be traded, with the initial trading price to be set between 90-200 percent of the offered price of 110,000 won (US$97.43), the Korea Exchange (KRX) said in a statement.
Measured at the IPO price, Samsung Life Insurance will become the sixth-largest firm on the main bourse in terms of market capitalization, with 22 trillion won when the company makes its stock market debut.
