Zurich UK Life has announced that it has enhanced its Trustee Investment Plan, or TIP, with new options.
Zurich UK Life has said that the TIP enables trustees of self-invested personal pensions, or SIPPs, or occupational schemes to invest into Zurich's pension funds. A regular payment facility has been added to customers holding commercial property in their SIPP or SSAS, who can reinvest rental income. The pricing structure has also been changed in response to adviser feedback, with a single fund based charge applying across all customer funds.
With access to over 190 funds, including Protected Profit funds, Zurich's TIP enables investors to spread their investments and take advantage of that may not be available under their existing schemes, said Zurich UK Life.
Dave Lowe, pensions management director at Zurich UK Life, said: "We have developed these enhancements to offer advisers and their clients' added flexibility to help maximise potential returns on rental income or from other un-invested funds. The improvements to our Trustee Investment Plan are a key part of our strategy for the retail pensions market - to provide a first choice proposition to meet the needs of our customers and advisers."
