Eds: with correction in first para Dhaka, Oct 23 (UNB) - Rupali Life Insurance Company Limited and Bangladesh General Insurance Company (BGIC) have signed a trust deed to launch ?Rupali Life Insurance First Mutual Fund (RLIFMF)?, a close
Earlier, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved this close end fund sponsored by Rupali Life Insurance Company Limited with a size of Tk 100 crore. Prime Finance Asset Management Company Limited (PAMC) will be managing the asset of this fund. Noor Mohammed Bhuiyan, Managing Director, Biswajit Kumar Mondal, Assistant Managing Director (F&A) and Company Secretary, Prantush Chandra Shaha, Assistant. Company Secretary of Rupali Life Insurance Company Limited and A.K.A.H. Chaudhuri, Managing Director and Anisuz Zaman Chowdhury, Financial Consultant of BGIC were present during the signing ceremony recently. Moin Al Kashsem, Managing Director & CEO of Prime Finance Asset Management, Md. Hasan Imam, Head of Finance & HRM and Moinul Islam, Head of Fund Management were also present at the programme. The entry of ?Rupali Life Insurance First Mutual Fund,? through professional fund management, is a part of the progressing trend towards a very bright future for capital market of Bangladesh.
