Allstate recognized as one of America’s best corporate citizens

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 2009--Allstate Insurance Company has been recognized as one of North America’s “100 Best Corporate Citizens,” according to a 2009 ranking published today by Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) Magazine.

Independent researchers evaluated 1,000 companies on their performance on seven key criteria, including environment, climate change, human rights, philanthropy, employee relations, financial performance and corporate governance. This is the first year Allstate has achieved the top 100 ranking.
