Two veterans Corporate Risk Join Alliant Insurance Services

Barlas and Jacobs joined the company's corporate risk practice, specializing in investment and damage services for large public and private clients. Together they bring nearly half a century of experience in the insurance company and will focus on providing personalized brokerage and consulting services for clients with complex risk profiles.

Barlas today as Executive Vice President and brings over 25 years experience in brokerage, consulting, operational management, loss control and engineering to society. Prior to joining Alliant, Barlas served as Executive Vice President for a brokerage firm National Insurance, where he focused on large accounts. While there, Barlas exercised its operational knowledge in the development and maintenance of insurance company and service provider relationships, forming new business relationships, and recruiting and coaching sales professionals. Barlas is both the Insurance Council approved (CIC) and associated risk management (ARM) designations.
Jacobs is now First Vice President, bringing over 20 years of industry experience to the company. Prior to joining Alliant, Jacobs was Senior Vice President for a company in the country where she was responsible for the promotion of goods and multiple accidents, marine, professional liability, and program management of risk, and more the implementation of risk management process, coordinating the resources of clients, and identify the risk of loss. Jacobs holds Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
