Federated Auto Parts has selected property and casualty insurance provider Zurich as its preferred business insurance provider. Zurich will provide insurance products for Federated's more than 155 warehouse distribution centers, 3,800 jobber locations and 4,000-plus Car Care Center affiliates countrywide.
“We are delighted Federated has selected Zurich as its preferred provider for business insurance,” says Dennis Kane, executive vice president of Zurich’s Direct Markets’ unit, which specializes in providing commercial property and liability insurance for businesses that sell or service autos, trucks, motorcycles, industrial equipment and RVs, as well as for automotive aftermarket businesses, including automotive parts businesses.
He adds, “The Federated team recognizes and appreciates our unique commitment to the automotive marketplace, in particular the aftermarket, and the consistent delivery of our highly specialized products and services to serve their affiliated store owners. We look forward to a very beneficial long term relationship.”
Federated affiliates will access Zurich's direct sales force for coverage under its Unicover® policy, the first single policy to meet the specific property and casualty insurance needs of automotive aftermarket businesses, such as the insurance needs of Federated Car Center owners, warehouse distributors, and jobbers.
Under the new agreement, Federated will have access to the following Zurich insurance products:
