NEW YORK, Jun 22, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The 2009 Travelers Championship will officially begin when Travelers Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jay Fishman rings the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange with colleagues from Travelers and PGA TOUR professionals on Monday, June 22, at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The following PGA TOUR players who are expected to compete in the 2009 Travelers Championship are scheduled to be in attendance:
-- Stuart Appleby, eight time winner on the PGA TOUR, ranks 14th in career earnings
-- J.J. Henry, 2006 winner of Connecticut's PGA TOUR event, currently ranks 40th in scoring average on the PGA TOUR
