Extend Health adds two senior executives to the leadership team

Extend Health announced that Richard Wheeler, former managing partner of Prescription Benefits, Inc., and Cathy Donahoe, former Director of Human Resources at Omniture, Inc., are joining Extend Health’s executive management team. Mr. Wheeler joins Extend Health as Senior Vice President for Public Sector Accounts. Ms. Donahoe joins as Vice President of Human Resources. Commenting on the additions to the executive team, Extend Health President and CEO Bryce Williams said, “Dick and Cathy will be excellent additions to our team and are ready to make critical contributions to the next stage of Extend Health’s growth as the nation’s leading provider of retiree health care solutions to the Fortune 1000 and now states, counties, municipalities and school districts.”
Before joining Prescriptions Benefits, Inc., Mr. Wheeler previously led United Healthcare’s national public sector sales group. Prior to his role in public sector sales, he held various sales and leadership positions at United Healhcare in Chicago and the Midwest during his eight (8) year career at United Health Group. Prior to United, Mr. Wheeler was at Humana, Inc. for twenty years in various sales leadership and operational roles. Ms. Donahoe led recruiting at Omniture and, during her five year tenure, helped the company grow from 80 US-based employees to over 1,000 employees in 20 countries.
