Govt committed to ensure protection,implementation of Constitution:PM

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said that the government is committed to protect and implement on the constitution adding that all the democratic institutions in the country are functioning within their limits.
Addressing to the inaugural ceremony of Sui-Gas provision to Dinga city on Thursday, Prime Minister said that PPP' led incumbent government is aimed to make the masses center of power as economic prosperity of the masses will also ensure development and progress of the country.
He also informed that the government under aegis of Benazir Income Support Program wanted to initiate health insurance policy for the poor masses of the country to facilitate them with free of cost health facilities and to facilitate the poor families with two hundred units of electricity free of cost adding that for the poor cultivators crop insurance policy would also be started to compensate the poor farmers in case of natural disasters Prime Minister inaugurating Gas provision to Dinga city of Gujrat division pointed out that PPP' s government has decided to hold only inaugural ceremonies of the projects not the foundation stones ceremonies as the incumbent government has been committed to facilitate the masses to their best.
PM Gilani also directed Overseas Pakistanis Foundation to initiate developmental projects in Dinga as tehsil Khariyan of Gujrat has the credit to bring largest foreign exchange from the expatriate Pakistanis of this city settled in foreign countries adding "I will personally order NEFDAC to start technical institutes in the city to create job opportunities for the youth of Dinga city".
Earlier Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira addressing to the inaugural ceremony of Gas to Dinga city informed that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has been first prime Minister of the country, who has visited the city today (Thursday).
He also termed Lala Musa as Larkana of Punjab adding that people of Dinga and Lala Musa despite negligence from the rulers always supported PPP, but from now PPP will eliminate all the deprivations from the people of this city and all the pending developmental projects of this city would be started.
Meanwhile Reaffirming his strong stance that education is the only tool that can bring revolutionary changes in the country, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said that undoubtedly Scientists and Engineers are our assets adding whatever we are today is due to their invaluable services.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed these views first addressing first convocation of University of Gujrat here on Thursday.

The government is giving priority to the education sector and high literacy rates will help the country fight terrorism, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said.
he also announced to grant Rs. 50 million to construct auditorium in the university and urged on the students of the university to prepare themselves to compete the global challenges.
