Exotic destinations 'better value'

Holiday-makers looking to save money for their travel insurance polices have been advised to seek destinations outside of the Eurozone.
Hotels.com has suggested that both Turkey and Morocco are "great value destinations" for British travellers as they do not adhere to the European currency, but are still a short flight away from the UK.
The accommodation provider issued this advice after releasing the results of a survey, which revealed that British holiday-makers spend an average of £96 per night on a hotel room when travelling abroad.
Nigel Pocklington, managing director at Hotels.com, explained that consumers are being "more savvy" when it comes to spending their money.
He said: "Those looking to travel slightly further afield will find their spending money could go even further."
At the beginning of April, the financial services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers claimed that people taking budget holidays should still purchase travel insurance.
